Thanes Creek Trip.

Just back from Thanes Creek, south-west Queensland.

Tried prospecting in different locations looking for gold, without any success. Can’t find gold all the time.

I did get some good photo’s…..

It rained several time over the weekend, but the rain seems to evaporate as soon as it touches the ground. Everything is dry.

About ivoradventures

Lives Brisbane north. Age 47. Male. Interests-heaps of stuff. Camping, fishing, and gold panning, keeps me quite busy. I still find time to cook, and spend time family and friends. I truly enjoy my daughters company(Shannon), but don't see enough of her since she moved out. There is a certain type of beauty that exists only in the wild places, and it calls to you. Go and explore! And drag someone with you.

Nice find! Even if it wasn’t the gold you are looking for. Part of what i like when i go out fossicking is finding all the old mine shafts, always want to go into them, always know better to do it hahaha
