Weekend with my daughter. Part I.

Getting away with your children is no easy matter these days, what with their busy lifestyles and all. Ah… no such problems here. What is important, is to uncomplicate your life(read as if “I don’t have a life”.) Once you have done that, you can go away at the drop of a hat. So, two days in a whirlwind of photographs…

on our way

We both enjoy a bit of photography, and I am certainly learning a few tricks from Shannon.

Aw...their cute, stop so I can take a picture.(lama, I think)

Not native to Australia, but there seems to be more and more of these Lamas turning up.

Apostille birds? These things descend on your camp site like the monkeys from "Jumanji"

I’ve only ever seen these birds around Kilkivan.

Won't be here for long

A strong wind will see the end of this tree.

All the streams are flowing.

Fig tree

The start of a tropical jungle, one seed at a time.

Continued in part II.

About ivoradventures

Lives Brisbane north. Age 47. Male. Interests-heaps of stuff. Camping, fishing, and gold panning, keeps me quite busy. I still find time to cook, and spend time family and friends. I truly enjoy my daughters company(Shannon), but don't see enough of her since she moved out. There is a certain type of beauty that exists only in the wild places, and it calls to you. Go and explore! And drag someone with you.
